How It Works



Time allocation: 1-1.5 hours



Welcome & Character Assignment

Guests arrive at the venue and are welcomed with a drink and brief introduction. Each participant is assigned a unique character—complete with secrets, goals, and motives. You’ll receive your character brief ahead of time so you can prepare (and even dress the part).

Scene is Set

Our facilitator introduces the setting—perhaps a glamorous 1920s soirée, a New York high society dinner, or a birthday bash gone wrong. The stage is set, the characters are in place, and the mystery begins.

Round 1: Introductions & Clue Gathering

Participants mingle, exchange information, and begin to piece together the relationships and secrets behind the characters. Clues are shared, motives are hinted at, and suspicions start to grow.

Round 2: The Plot Thickens

New clues and shocking revelations are revealed. Secret alliances are formed, accusations begin, and the drama escalates. Who’s lying? Who’s hiding something? And who has the most to gain from the murder?

Round 3: Accusations & Final Theories

The final round brings everything together. Each guest must make their case—who do they believe committed the crime, and why? Theories are debated, alliances break down, and decisions are made.

The Big Reveal

Once everyone has cast their vote, the facilitator reveals the truth! Who was the killer? How did they do it? Why? The drama is unpacked, and awards are handed out for Best Detective, Best Performance, and Most Dramatic Moment.
