Teams earn points for each correct answer, while photo and video challenges are submitted to the race director via the Photo Perks tab in the app. The race director then marks these challenges, with extra points awarded for original, one-of-a-kind submissions.

How long does the activity last?

The entire activity typically lasts around 3 to 4 hours, participants will complete as many checpoints as possible within this timeframe.

What is the team size?

Teams are usually made up of 4 to 6 participants to encourage collaboration and communication.

Do we need to bring anything?

Participants should wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for walking, sunhat and sunblock. It’s also helpful to bring a fully charged smartphone to use the app and a power bank if possible.

Is there a minimum age requirement?

While the activity is designed for adults, younger participants are welcome if accompanied by an adult. Please let us know in advance.

Are there any physical requirements?

The activity involves walking and some light physical challenges. Participants should be comfortable with moderate physical activity. The most challenging aspect is the walk up the hill to the Bo-Kaap.

What if someone in our team has mobility issues?

Please inform us in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate participants with mobility challenges.

How are points awarded?

Teams earn points for correct answers, successful completion of challenges, and photo/video submissions. The team with the highest points at the end wins!
