Embark on a thrilling digital adventure around the World as teams race through virtual global destinations on Google Maps and complete exciting challenges as they go! Divided into groups of 6-10, each team will receive their digital race book, guiding them through the adventure. Teams will tackle Roadblock challenges, including tasks like taking creative photos, solving riddles, and sharing travel stories. This is a fantastic way to bring the team together as they visit exotic locations and learn fascinating stories about the places they are visiting as well as getting to know their colleagues in a fun social environment.

How It Works

Lawn games can be organized as a standalone event or combined with a delightful picnic lunch at one of our pre-selected beautiful venues.

1. Event Introduction & Welcome

  • Teams log into a virtual platform (Zoom, Teams, or another preferred platform).
  • Participants check in, receive an event overview, and meet their game facilitator.
  • A quick tutorial is provided on how to use Google Maps and Google Earth for navigation.

Team Formation:

  • Teams of 4-6 participants are assigned (or pre-arranged).
  • A team name is chosen, and breakout rooms are set up for private collaboration.

2. The Race Begins

  • Each team starts at a different famous location somewhere in the world.
  • Teams navigate through Google Maps/Street View, searching for hidden details, answering trivia, and solving location-based riddles.

3. Checkpoints & Challenges

Each destination is a checkpoint with its own set of challenges:

  • Navigation Challenge – Teams explore the area using Street View, find specific clues, and uncover hidden details about the location.
  • Trivia & Research Challenge – Teams answer location-specific trivia by researching historical, cultural, and geographical facts about the place.
  • Puzzle Challenge – Teams solve a riddle or brain teaser based on the unique characteristics of the location.
  • Letter Collection Challenge – After successfully completing each checkpoint, teams receive a letter. By collecting all the letters from various destinations, they must unscramble them to reveal the final location.

4. The Final Destination & Race to the Finish

  • Once teams collect all their letters, they must decode the final destination.
  • The first team to successfully identify and navigate to the correct final destination wins.

Winner’s Announcement & Wrap-Up

  • The winning team is announced, and all participants share their favourite moments from the journey.
  • The event ends with a recap of highlights and a sense of achievement.
